Fancy some bonnet stripes but can't decide whether to go for Silver or Black.

Additional info, the roof is body colour, but it has the sunroof so the roof is quite dark if you know what i mean

Just to add fuel to the fire, this months Modern Mini (I think) has a cool pic of a Hyper Blue, Black Roof and it has black stripes, black scoop and the wheels arches Etc. have been coded in black (like MarkyC's mowta). It looks the dogs danglies.

OBN, I know your roof ain't black, but with the sunroof it will still look black-ish 'cos of the sunroof.

Thats a baragin, amzing though how much blacked out lights devalue a car!

I want to keep it a little more subtle than the viper stripes.

I have got a price for a Saltire graphic for a sunroof and I've been told that the blue vinyl is almost the same shade of blue as the car, so that with white bonnet stripes is now an option.

Who said buying a Mini was easy?

Update...

Getting car on Monday so need to book it in with Spongebob on Tuesday, so reckon the vote will have to close tomorrow so I can confirm which ones for him to order in.

If you go for the saltire roof then I think its got to be white vipers or bonnet stripes otherwise your car will look messy.

The results so far

In last place we have Black bonnet stripes with 2 votes, followed by 3 votes for no stripes
Runner-up at the moment is Misc colours (inc white and pink) with 7 votes
and in the lead with 14 votes is silver

Personally I'm sold on the idea of getting silver fitted and then getting a silver and blue saltire on the sunroof, but its up to you fellow NMSers

Clean and simple is the best way. Had mini's with and without stripes. stay away from the srtipes.

'scuse me! The saltire is (azure) blue and white only. Silver jacks are one thing coz its a 'b*stardised flag anyway. Messing with the saltire - a thoroughbred - is not on!
