I am so happy that I went for that colour.

I've just noticed:I how the air vents at the wiper area has all changed. kinda cool looking I reckon. Looks like a much longer wiper are on the left side

now I've got to think what design of stripes to put on as my roof is in body colour. Just want them on one side front to back of car and black in colour.

The black roof and stripes sets it off nice

Ummm well actually the seat on the left is the new RECARO seat you get as an option in the new CLIO SPORT 197 and the one on the right is the the spitting image of the leather RECAROs you can get as an option in the Audi RS4s....

Either would do me (in leather of course!), if it could be retro fitted :D:cool::p

Love that colour Fi. And love those wheels too.

As for stripes, the car in the launch actually looks good with black stripes. Ah, but you're going for yellow roof too.... Erm.... thinks....

Single black stripe, about 1" wide, really narrow in comparison to the car. Subtle.

Edit: Forgot to say, looks like you need to get the arches painted too. Nice and black, like MarkyC's car. That looks the dogs danglies.:D:D

Well, I saw a mellow yellow S today, albeit briefly!

I live on the M40 these days, and have seen loads of cars from Oxford way (Range Rover Sport etc) before they have been released. Today it was a new Mini!.

Car looked kinda high at the front, but it still works at a glance. As for the colour - I'm still not sold but you won't see very many cars that colour! It looked pretty good though, very distinctive. Although, two transits went past not long after and were pretty similar in colour (bit more yellow if that makes sense).

Update on the wheels,Mini UK hope to have them out in time for launch time,But don't hold yer breath)will keep checking in from time to time to give updates,and will keep buggin the factory for an exact date.

Fiona, have you got any more pics of the Recaros? I'm nearly sold on getting them fitted to my R53, but really haven't seen any pics other than the one you posted there, and the official black one from the brochure...

Did I read on m2 that you'd had a set fitted? Any idea of the colour options/trims?
