What a response this accident has had round all the car forums and pistonheads has something like 20k donated towards the yorkshire air ambulance service. Almost ever forum has a link for the donation thread.
Shame that it takes something like this to happen for this amount of donations.
Got me to thinking what happens in Scotland then and I was very pleased to read that for once we seem to have done something right in here Scotland. http://www.scottishambulance.com/helpoffered/airwing.asp:)

BBC have put an indefinate hold on Top Gear :(
I heard on the news he's getting better though.
I saw a book of his in Tesco yesterday...... 'What Not To Drive'
Vol 2 will surely have a jet powered addition I would imagine...

Richard Hammond was discharged from Leeds General Infirmary with his consultant neurosurgeon optimistic he would make a full recovery and be "back to his old self" within six months.

yip....saw him walking to the ambulance yesterday on tv........good hes back on his feet so soon.:)
