Ok just back from spending 9 days in the Lake District.

One of the best holidays we have had even better than America and all that.

We thought ok got a discovery so we bought a explorers OS map and decided to do a few geen lane routes.

This one was by far the worse

Not sure the pictures do it justice was scary in some parts and a few very very tight turns.

Enjoy and some of our Postman Pat Van ;)

first stage and we thought this is ok

Can I just say once we completed the route we got to the bottom only to find we could not get through the gap between the farm buildings so we had to do the route backwards again.

These pictures were taken once we had got to safe ground and knew we could get back to the single track road with no probs.

I am sure some to the walkers/ramblers had a good laugh what with Allan and I shouting at each other as he had to direct me round some of the rocks. Stress well thats one word for it. However it has got to be one of the best ways to see the views and have some fun as long as everything goes ok.

Nice shots.

Looks like you'll need to get a winch fitted to the front if you're going to try a Clarkson!

Its amazing where these Transit Connects can go ;):p

you mean a Postman Pat van don't you;) we were a bit worried at some points on various routes as we only had Pirelli Scorpians fitted which are a bit chunky but not chunky enough going to get more M/T tyres fitted.

I was amazed just how good the terrian response on this motor is just by flicking a switch.

Postman Pat - loving it!

One of my colleagues is getting a new Discovery this week, so i'll have to show him the pics. That'll be setting a challenge for him!

thanks just speaking to a few guys on the disco3 forum that know the route and say it's not easy by any means and we done well getting more chuffed by the minute that we done it. Allan reckon it's down to him being x forces having done that stuff in the past and having a good eye for the gaps me I reckon it was more down to my off road driving skills:p

tell you this what a range of emotions you go through doing this knda of run:)

Hmmm. Allan says it's 'cos he's ex forces. You, a girly, say it's down to your "driving skills".

Well done Allan mate! :D
