Does anyone know if the standard stereo in a 2005 transit plays MP3 or has a Aux-in socket?

As far as I'm aware the bog standard Ford Traffic 2000 thats fitted to the 2003 models doesnt have what you're after.
Not sure thats the one thats in the 2005 model though.

I've got inMotion speakers that run off batteries, around 4 hours (2 sets) but i would need them back by monday at the latest, but, i'm guessing that you are moving hoose and not coming back, let me know :p

Alan, I'll be back :D We're moving the furniture south but we still have to find work. We've got a holiday cottage near Huntly for 5 weeks.

Thnaks for the offer but I'll just have to burn a load of CDs for the journey, I doubt the iMotion speakers will drown out the transits engine. Not sure what model it is but it's a Luton, I'll be sticking to 60mph to save fuel though......

I'd imagine the head unit would only be a tape deck, so I guess you'll have to have a Discman with a casette adaptor if you're wanting CDs

I'd check with the Hire Company to be honest.

I tried but the van's out and the women didn't know []

If its a cassette then ipod to adapter would work :D

Bought a tape thingy today from Turriff £4.99, sounds pish but its better than Radio 1 all day.
