It's a mad idea. They do it now when there are accidents to keep the traffic flowing until they can move the traffic over, but it's crazy talk!

im sure this the same as what german autobahn's have as well as loads of other systems and signage relative to the traffic at that time.

This is foolish, they need to look at the cause, its the bottle necks and exits that are the problem. sort these out, they could have 15 lanes but if no-one can get off them cause they abrubtly merge onto small roads off exits with roundabouts then whats the point.

daft its frikking daft this country is govenred by morons we need to get rid of loories from the road but first restric them to the slow lane only and if we did that then im sure acident rates would half over night
