Hi all, new member here........
I like to make small mods nothing too drastic. So can some one tell me the best place to buy
(1) A shorter aerial, perhaps 3/4 inches
(2) Chrome inserts for the side indicators
(3) Has anyone fitted one of those aftermarket CooperS petrol caps? They come painted, but how close to the colour are they?
Thanks all.

Aerial (http://www.essentialmini.co.uk/antenna.htm) I have the 3" aerial, gordon cooper works has the 4 inch, i think they look better than the honda/alta aerials etc going about.

Hi Alfie, welcome to NMS.
I can answer questions 2 and 3.
If you are talking about the shark fin grills, they are approx £50 delivered from any mini specialist (www.plminishop.com, www.minispares.com, www.newminisport.com etc etc)
As for the Aftermarket "S" Petrol cap. I got mine supplied and fitted by our Sponsor (Menzies of Stirling) for £180. you would never know the cap was put on after the car was a few months old the match in paint is that good..:D
Hope this helps. :approve:

Oi!!
The Honda aerial's look good so don't listen to that big woofter!!:p;)
Try eBay, all Honda aerials designed for the Civic will fit the MINI. Cost about £8 including p+p.

Yip, straight swap. Brand new about £15 from Honda, just don't ask for the Type R one. It's the same but costs about £25.

Ebay ..about £5 tops for the 3/4 incher, and I'm almost certain that the only part of the filler cap that is painted is the surround not the cap its self !!
