I think it' called? Replacing Optimax. Wonder if they'll actually make it different from Ultimate this time. :)

I think its just a re brand. They use 'v' power on the Ferrari F1 livery.

Makes sense to me.

And is it more expensive? Anyone tried it yet?

Was all set to fill up with Ultimate yesterday, only to see it was 105.9p a litre!!!! So used the standard stuff at 98.9p Couldn't believe it was 105!

V Power should be priced the same as Optimax. Ultimate should be down to around the 102.9ppl mark.

V Power is the same price as Optimax, filled up with it yesterday at Peebles for 99.9p per litre.

Hmmmmm. V power/max is what Optimax is called in the States, only its of lesser quality like all US fuels....

I tried Shells 97ron fuel for a couple of months in my cooper but saw or felt no benifit in putting it in and when it jumped to £104.9 per litre i thought stuff this and went back to 95ron .

yip i filled up with it today and thought the same, seemed a bit more responsive - could have just been my imagination tho - knowing its supposed to be better an all, will be interesting to see what others think .

I always ran my mini on ultimate, switched to optimax for 4 fills and it started to develop flat spots, yo yo'd, spluttered etc switched back to ultimate since and theres only a slight trace of a flat spot left :(
