I didn't count , but I think we had about 30 MINI's and almost 50 people for the dinner reservations.

It was a very nice day - we had everything from wind & rain to 95F sunny weather - all in about 4 hours:cool:.

Ahh Yes,

The Superstition Mountains, home of the Lost Dutchman Gold Mine. An old Spanish gold mine that was "re-discovered" by the Dutchman back in the 1800's and then buried before his death. To date no one has found it , but many have died trying:dead:

Rumour has it that the entrance is covered with alternating layers of timbers, rock and clay over 30 feet thick and you could drive a pack train right over the entrance and never know it's there:eek:

Oooooooooooh, that looks great!!! Did anyone try driving the minis around to find the secret entrance??? :D

Looks stunning though - and the backdrop's not bad either...:D:D:D

Thanks All,

See, it DOES rain in Arizona - especially after we all do the "White Mans Rain Dance" (wash our cars) :D

Hey all,

One more pic - taken by Gotune ( a member of our group ). Mini's in the canyons between Globe and Superior, Arizona on Hwy 60. Lots of fun - blind corners and a tunnel!!
