hi have been told u have a strut brace fitted 2 ur mini:cool: did u fit it or get some one 2 do it for u ???

I installed a strut bar on mine, simply remove the suspension nuts, inside the engine bay, adjust the bar so that ends fit over the protruding threaded bits (where you removed the nuts from) and then make up the nuts again :)
Just make sure that when adjusting the bar that aprrox the same amount of thread is showing each side of the adjuster

Hi Sweeney - just noticed this. I actually had the JCW Strutbrace fitted when I got the Works Suspension and brakes put on at the dealer last year, so it was all done at the same time. However, I don't think it's difficult to do - as Bonnie S. says, just a few nuts (sounds like this club....) and Bob's yer uncle. (He's my Dad actually).

A couple of extra hands would be helpful - as Angus seems to be offering! So you should be sorted.
