Help Needed - Replacing Brakes

Hello,

Has anyone replaced the rear discs and pads themselves?

I've read all the info on it and it seems a straight forward job but no one ever mentions the wear indicator wire??

Does anyone know if the wear indicator wire on the back off-side brake will be an integral part of my car or of the brake pad?

I hope I’m explaining this properly, what I mean is where do you separate the wear indicator wire from the pad when replacing them?

The wear indicator slots into the pad but it also has a connector further up the wire;)

do you know if its difficult to remove the wear indicator and wire from the old pad?

Its easy,but if the pads are worn there is a chance that the indicator may need replaced too;)
