As part of the RAMAIR 'SUPA-RAM' induction kit, they supply a small filter that attaches to the engine breather hose (normally connected to the main pipe going to the air box).
Is this small filter meant to be oiled like the main induction cone?

I think it is... can't remember...
<goes out into sub-arctic hurricane weather to check>

Naw... It's just a filter for the breather hose... it isn't oiled - doesn't have to be, cos it's not sucking air in.
:D

No worries... Oooh... now which account did you send it to?
Aaaaaaa too many email addresses!!! :D:D:D

yeah, the main one is oiled to catch all the crap that might get into the engine... the othere one is just there to even out the pressure in the engine casing and stuff...

Had to refit filter this am as the clip on the engine side came loose , so it was just sitting on it and not really secure. Bought a couple of wider hose clips from B&Q and seems to be ok now, gotta go for a drive for to check it all out and drive everywhere in second gear above 4000 revs bahahahahahaha
