think ill give the glass cleaner a go before vinegar :), vinegar didn't do the seat stain any favous apart from make the car smell like a chippy... :(

read this (http://www.angelfire.com/cantina/homemaking/vinegar.html#Miscellaneous) miscellaneous 8/9 down .....its been used for year to clean glass, and used long before glass cleaner in a spray bottle ......also use a new Stanley blade to gently remove any sticky stuff on the glass that is left over ,''at an angle of course !!!! ''
''A quarter cup in a quart of water makes a good window cleaner.
A reader adds: When you use vinegar in your water to wash windows, dry with newspapers. Your windows will sparkle!''

Angus is right - my granny used to swear by vinegar as a glass cleaner - then again Angus and my granny are similar ages :p

Another way to get the sticker off without mess is blast the mofo with a hot hair dryer and it will just flop off.
