Hi,
How are you today? and how is work/business? I believe you are
fine. Just to let you know that I am interested in buying your car. I
have seen the details and the price on the advert webpage. Pertaining to
the price, I will be paying you £7,000. I want you to be aware that I
will be paying you with a cheque and the cheque will also carry the
shipping and clearing fund of the car at the port and some other important
things needed to be done therein; like the extra work needed to be done
on the car to make it perfectly ok and the documentation of the
shipping documents ,and the cost of every other things which might come up as
a result of purchase and for hazzle free shippment(Tax clearance).
I want you to know that this whole payment is sent to you
because of security reasons, because the shippers are always on the move
picking goods from one country to the other. So, the specificity of the
cheque to be issued is always not certain ,and they will not be able to
wait the time for clearance and other things as they have other people's
goods that have to be picked up from different locations and won't
like to be held back on their move because of just one person's cheque.So
to make things faster and easier for us, that is why the gross amount
for buying and shipping is issued on a single cheque and forward to the
location of goods for specificity and security reasons as have ealier
said.
Say I will be issuing out a cheque of total amount £12,000 and I
wouldn't mind waiting for the cheque to clear before any further step
is taken. Pls, if you are interested and serious to sell? Pls e-mail me
back so that i can inform my accountant to issue out a cheque to the
address that you will give to me ,which includes;

Sorry to be sceptic but something smells here. IMHO.

I've hard of cheques that look genuine clearing banks only to be void weeks later once they've been through security which can sometime be take a couple of weeks. After you've sent the goods.

I must admit I might be a bit paranoid.

One of the guys at work had the same thing 2 weeks ago when he was selling his Honda. Buyer said he was from Switzerland...:eek: Exactly the same speil...cheque for more than car was worth..etc. He ended up selling it to a guy on Lewis of all placed:eek: :p:D:approve:
