View Full Version : 500ft below ,on the sea bed

This was taken by the ROV (remote operated vehicle)offshore ....you just never know whats down there in the North Sea !!,the white thing is where the oil and gas comes out of the sea bed ...not sure the technical term for it .......BS will know (.............. )?:p

I thought it'd be too cold for them in the North Sea. The shark that is, not the white thing. :)

loads of them .....the water will be warmer down there as well around the white thingy:D I have pics of one that was caught by the supply boat and lifted onto the platform :eek:....the chef did a good fish supper that night :p, pics are on a disc and will post later if I can find them ;)

Dull fact - the world record Portbeagle shark was caught off Dunnet head a few years back - they're there an theyz comin to eatcha. Think it was one of them in the footage...

portbeagle sharks are all around the Beryl Alpha and Bravo , just sharks to me really but some guy in the know told me what type they were , you could be right Calum !! re footage
