anyone got the leather bucket seats?if so how does it affect the airbag light or have they got airbags?

I think the air bag indication light has to sw'd off disconnected etc , as JCW seats dont have the air bag fitted ...99% sure of that

We've just fitted a set of JCW leather seats into our min, and you have to take to the dealer for them to disable the air bag light as the JCW seats do not have the side air bags. :D

Haven't done that yet, but will get it done soon!

Great seats though - lovely and snug!:D:cool::D

Yes they are awesome seats, mine are for sale along with the car!!

Will remove them if anyone wants the car minus the seats!

They are still in the car! I'm open to offers and I will remove them if the price is right!!

With respect to the original question - some dealers want a staggering amount to disable the seat air bags and put out the air bag light , there is an alternative available for about 35 quid a side from MiniMania

What Spec are your seats Brian?? Full leather/half leather, colour, heated etc etc ???? All vital information to be able to offer a fair price

They are the full cloth option with the awesome John Cooper Works badge in colour. I find the cloth option better than my full leather as they don't sag, make you sweat loads in the summer and, IMO far more durable than leather.

There is no heating option on these seats. They do have official JCW subframes which are quite expensive to buy!
