View Full Version : Faulty headlights?!

Got out of the car yesterday afternoon (lights hadn't been on previously and I hadn't flashed them at anyone either,(no jokes or puns)).
Anyway the headlights were on full even tho the car was off, lights were in an off position. Went back into the car, dashboard lights were off so no obvious indication as to why they were on. Turned the lights on and back off and all was sorted. Any ideas why they went on in the first place. Is it faulty and should I take it back to BMW?

Check to see if you have the "get me home" option, it's a useful feature for lighting up your path at night, stays on for around 30 seconds before going out :)

...But I think they need to have been on in the first instance so that they stay on after you switch the ignition off..

Nope just flash your high beam anytime after you switch of the engine they stay on for 30 secs.I think, maybe I'm wrong,ah bugger I'll check later.:p:p

hmmm I was so sure that I didn't touch the lights but now it sounds more like I am a twat! Will check for sure tonight.
