I'm joining in from quite a distance away -- San Antonio, Texas. To make several long stories quite short...my first MINI met a devastating end, I sold my second MINI and just purchased my third and fourth MINIs this past weekend. Hoping to chat a bit through this site, and one day upon my next visit abroad, possibly meet up for a road trip.

Thanks for the welcomes and well wishes. I've got official photos of the first two MINIs, but still need that done for the current two -- which are being called Pete and Lady. Lady belongs to mum -- she's 67 and I bought it for her because she needed something more reliable than she had. She's a true MINImotorer...driving it like she stole it! I'll post pictures soon.

Got a friend just up the road from you in Houston ;):D
Was across visiting a couple of years back. we got as far as Dallas in one direction and Galveston in the other. I wanted us to take a trip over to San Antonio, but we ran out of time, and the fact that we didn't know when we were going to be able to get home, since unfortunately 9/11 was right in the middle of our stay :disapprove::(
We had an excellent time, everyone was imcredibly friendly :D

Sure I'll be around for a run when you come over :D:D
