Does anyone remember the tuned lada that Top Gear did :question: At least I think it was Top Gear, they took a lada and handed it over to a tuning company, Lotus I think. They dropped in a tuned Twin cam Fiat engine, sorted out the handling, resprayed it and sorted out the interior.

It was amazing, this thing became a true sports car....

The took a 35bhp Lada Riva to lotus it came back fitted with a Fiat/Lacia 1.8 Twin cam with 180bhp. Plus Lotus sorted the handling out as well. The actually spent 1000 manhours on the car :eek:
