As there is not going to be a Cullen this year :(, I thought I would post this up as an alternative.

Perth to Nairn

There will also be the option of an overnight stay in Nairn, although this will depend on the number of people wanting to go out on the lash ;). This will probably cost about £40 - £50 for a hotel or £20 - £30 for a B&B.

The route itself is 260 miles and starts in Perth, takes in Glenshee, Braemar, the coastal road past Pennan, a stop at Baxters Fochabers for pancakes, Speyside, finishing in the seaside resort of Nairn. Which is Scotlands Sunniest Town BTW :D Hopefully 1 tank of fuel will do it.

These are some of the best roads in Scotland :D

I was thinking we could open this up to the BMW Owners Club as well. Let me know if your interested (even maybes)and whether you want to stay over in Nairn.

1. Vidal Buffoon (Overnight)
2. Brian Pirie esq. (Possible Overnight)

Would really like to go but the finish is a tad to far:disapprove:, really like Nairn as I go there every 2 weeks on my way to Elgin for work.
We stay in Cumbernauld and have to pay for an expensive holiday we are going on that month.
Sorry
Les and Jason

Hi Paul

Your run (and all the ones you've tried to put in place before)sounds fantastic.:D:D:D

I've always wanted to go to Pennan.:):D:cool:

That's were they filmed the Village scenes for Local Hero wasn't it ?.:D:D:D

Unfortunately Saturdays is a busy day in the Cinema, we just cant take any more time away from the Cinema especially with our own upcoming runs still needing recce's.

Hopefully you'll get a better response than you've had in the past.

Best of luck.:):)

Neil and Lorna.:D:D:D

OH by the way the pancakes at Baxters are just amazing.:D:D

Theres a really nice hotel in Nairn called the Newton or the sister hotel, the Golf View. Both are really good and i'm certain you could get a deal with them as they are fairly large!! BIG CAR PARK TOO!!
