I'm trying to trace the history of my series 1 XJ12L Jaguar I have an AA receipt from 1978 to a
Mr T.C. Gray
Manor House
Chislehurst

does anybody know of this place?

Also it had a private plate of VRG 1 does this nomber mean anything to anyone?

It wass also in Aberdeen for a number of years in the late 90's early 2000's probobly with the plate BSS 127 M?

chislehurst is down in Kent, Greater London...

Looks a right happening place, don't think it would have been a london gangster!

VRG 1 rings a bell. I think the garage round from me (I think it was a Scimiter garage) on Bonnymuir Place in Aberdeen used to run cars with that plate but I could be wrong. Will question the folks later and see if they remember it.
