Willie what times were you making??

A friend of the guy that I sold my old car to was supposed to be going. Dont't think he did. He text me today saying there was a JCW and another Cooper S running really slow times, I find that hard to believe!!

Brian (now with JCW seats fitted wooooooo)

Don't worry I'll be back in a MINI as soon as the new one comes out with proper suspension, I'll just have to put up with the powerslides and better performance (than my Cooper)for now;):p:D:D

So did what did the RS4 sound like

It was a really hot day and the times were not great to be honest,
the cooper s' seem to struggle in the heat with the intercooler
being sat inside a hot engine. I couldnt beat my 15.2 that i set
with my standard car!!

The fastest time by a cooper s at crail ever was 14.893.

The heat was the same for all the cars and although the times were
not great we were still beating a tuned leon cupra R amoungst others.

<blinks> Your works 'S couldn't beat the time you set with your standard car? That's disappointing!

ScottishcooperS

I dont drive a works, and yes PASL did beat my old time he got 15 flat,
and will defenately get into the 14's on a day where the temp is slightly lower.

Both signatures show what we drive.

Does that mean you are away to buy a new intercooler then??

What mods did that cooper s have done to it?

The 8th pic down, who does that belong to?

Loving the wheels and the reg plate!!

ScottishcooperS

Brian - Im considering the GTT intercooler with sprayer. Im not sure what mods that cooper s had but not standard.

The 8th pic down is a guy we met down there, he says has spent 16K on his car. It has 145bhp. All his work has been carried out by JCW in England. He would not race his car tho cos of his rims.

Im guessing u meant 245 since its an S? Or is it just a coop with S scoop etc?

ScottishcooperS

Sorry yeah i meant to say 245bhp lol

I have the GRS intercooler on my car - most of car is kitted out with GTT but I decided to go with a company that just produces intercoolers. Its made a huge difference to the car, particuarly on "warm" days. I have thought of a sprayer too - I could modify the GTT one to fit. C_ME_SWIM had the alta one fitted on his car before putting it back to standard, it definitely worked, although you have to top your washer bottle up regularly.

its a must for all modded S'.
