New Mini Ordered

Hi all

Haven't visited here much over the past year but thought I would post today!

This morning I ordered my new Mini. This time I have upgraded to a Cooper S :) Decided on Hyper Blue with white roof and bonnet stripes. Went for the Bullet 17" wheels.

Currently driving a Cooper, silver with black roof and stripes.

Delivery around June.

We had a Silver Cooper with black roof and changed to the Cooper S Hyber Blue, white roof and stripes in March last year.

You'll find some pics here (http://www.reachercreatures.com/mini.htm) . It's changed a wee bit since then though. Chrome Scoop. Colour Coded arches etc.:D:D

It was those pictures that helped me decide on the colour :o)

Had a quick trip to the dealer this morning and was able to see it. Looking good and the blue is a lot brighter than I had expected, probably due to the sun. Happy with that.

looking good, "Speed is great!" I hope you keep it within the tolerances stated in the manual for the run in period :sleepy:. Now go and give it a hefty coat of wax and bumper care gel/coating for the plastics and it'll look even more sparkly :D

Yeah, it's an air freshener alright, I used to have one in the Cooper. I'm using new car smell air fresheners in both cars now and they smell great! :D

Thanks for the comments.

Yes, it's an air freshener courtesy of Halfords. Still to tart it up with the aluminium disc holder but that will have to wait till the weekend. I need to find more sticky clear pad things. No mods planned as yet. Probably give it a once over with the Maguires stuff that I still have. Will leave that for a week or so cause I would feel like a numpty doing it now with all the neighbours saying 'Aaaaww, hes waxing it already and only just got it home'

Will be routing Bridge of Don to Westhill every morning and the same in the evening. Did spot somone this evening as I was heading to the airport. He was going out Newmachar way I think. Same car, colour and stripes as me!
