Ipod connection

Not strictly Mini-related, but my dad is getting a new 3 series soon, and is wondering how to connect an Ipod to it? Do you need the Ice-link thingamy?

We can't find any info in the brochure, and I was just wondering if anyone on here knows, is it the same as 1-series, X5's etc...

should come with the aux plug i'm sure just like the 1 ser.
Then you select it throught the head unit :I:I....me thinks that is correct;)

There is def an aux in - it's in the center armrest.

I think that you can just plug in and use it, however if you want to be able to control it via the steering wheel controls etc you need an ice link.

So - as standard - you will use the ipod to conrol what's being played. With Ice-link, you can use the car controls (eg MFSW. I-drive etc)
