Anyone changed these? Or know how to change them?

We've managed the down tubes under the dash, and the wee "tweeter" and door handle covers at the top of the doors, but not really sure how the bottom speaker covers are held on.....

Any advice much appreciated! Thanks! :D Before we break something.... :I

(Also will be changing the dial surrounds on the dash sometime soon too - any tips or hints for that would also be appreciated.)

From memory the speaker grills are actually glued/bonded to the door, the whole panels need to come off if you want to change them.

There's instuctions on how to remove the door panels on MINI2

Door panels have to come off as the speaker covers are bonded on to the back of the door panel, I carefully drilled my covers off and fixed the new ones on by using a hot glue gun.

Thanks for all the advice folks!

Sounds like it's a bit of a bigger job than we thought!

Its not a big job to take the pannels off. You will need torx screw heads though. And the pannel wont just fall off, you need to pull like you've never pulled before!:D

SR is right, its a bit daunting at first but I managed to get taking the door panels off putting them back on again into a 15 minute job :D
