Alpine Sinister 6 (http://www.alpine-usa.com/en/fun/P-Lot/Corp-Vehicles/06-Sinster6/)

Check out the video, gives u the best views of the car.

I dont like it one bit, but you have to admit, some of the features are extremly kool, and the amount of work and that must have gone into it....not worth thinking about!!:eek::cool:

They did a MINI a few years back, with light blue airbrushing and some crazy gadgets, can't find any pics or videos of it though!:dead:

Thats horrendous! There's no car left!! It looks like its from the set of Aliens.

I'd rather have the 645 convertible that they claim is underneath!!

OH DEAR. What have they done to that beautiful car. Who on earth is going to want to buy that when they are finished with it. And is it just me being blind but how the hell are you meant to drive it.
I remember seeing the mini they done and that upset me just as much

You guys are missing the point, the whole point of the car is to showcase what Alpine can do, and have it at the cutting edge of whats current achievable in the audio market, and to generate responses and for people to remember it. And as that, it's very good, just like their previous demo cars were.

As a car, its not, but this was not their aim ;)

3500 hours to build, the paint(airbrushing) alone cost $18000... the steering is done with what can only be described as a kind of joystick on the right hand side.

Thank you shaz!! First two posts did complety miss the point....YES, its a waste of a 6 series, and YES it looks pretty hideous

BUT

You have to admire the hours, effort and money thats has gone into it, let alone the ideas for the whole design. Great car to show exactly what they can do!:D

I'll trawl the world wide interweb thingy n see if i can find the MINI they did a few years back. Its a bit calmer but still not to everyones taste!:p
