How do I go about getting my i-pod to go through my CD player in the Mini?
Any suggestions and cheapest possible option.

Cheapest would be the aux in route, i'm not sure what year your car is, but, from 2003 onwards this is a simple mod that can be done to the head unit.
You'll also need a double ended stereo mini jack lead, same as headphone connection.

Called the parts department at Menzies today and was quoted £250 for the adaptor kit with fitting, a wee bit too expensive me thinks!:(
Can you confirm this as £210 for fitting is a bit mad.
