Picked up my MINI from dealer around 3 pm today. I have been waiting for this for about 2 month, and I think it is really worth the wait.:p

Here he is, LY MC,Chili pack, Chequered flag roof, white mirrow/wheel, Xenon, HK HIFI and lots of other stuff:) Since i live in Scotland so i didn't get the air condition. I don't think i will miss that very much.

the weather today has been very Scottish, windy and rainy. I will get some more decent photo of him once it clears up a bit. Can't wait to drive it tomorrow during day light, it turned quite a few heads just outside of Tesco today even it was 8pm and you can't see much:wink:

Nice car. Are there many other MINIs up your way? I see a lot everyday around Edinburgh so my MINI doesn't have the same draw for attention as you might be getting. Of course mine is a more subdued colour set so that might be part of it too.

Nice car! The checks really make the yellow look spot on!
Maybe see you about round that way sometime.
Lookout for a purple One with anthracite wheels, and gizza wave :D

CONGRATULATIONS! Looks fantastic. i still love the white wheels. It looks a bit 'scalextricy' which is cool :)

On a separate 'anoraky' note from your photo - why do they no longer have the wipers programmed to park themselves even when you turn the ignition off with them on? My last MINI did this but the new one isn't programmed this way. Seems silly to disable a good feature...

You don't HAVE to. You just want to. :)

Personally I'd never tell anyone that's really chuffed at getting their new car that I thought the colour they picked was "yuk" since I don't think there's any need for it but hey ho. Takes all sorts!:)

Cracking looking Car Gary. Love it. :D

The wipers are up because the ignition is on:) If you look really hard you can see my girlfriend in there. It was raining when I took this and I just ran outside and took this quick picture.

Here is a few more pics I took last weekend.

This is a gift from my dealer, he also gave me a full tank of fuel. Nice guy.

Thanks everybody for your warm welcome. I am really enjoying my MINI but I am just too busy to take him anywhere fun at the moment. I would love to join a few runs in the summer :D Hope to see you guys there.
