back box

my mini has a rotten back box ,its a november 53 plate with only 13000 mls.do u think john clark will tell me 2 go away if i try and ask for a new one under warranty ?

I believe that the exhaust is not covered under warranty. I changed my exhaust when mine was about 2 years old and it was rotten too.

That's poor. I thought factory exhausts were usually good for about 5 years/50k miles.

I would try and get it replaced under warranty given the very low miles.

Failing that have a look on ebay - theres usually a couple going cheap on there.

i have my old cooper exhaust still which i took off my car only 1 month ago.. if you want i can take pics and send you them ... coem to an agreement??

Choc - I've got a Cooper exhaust in my back garden, its a powerflow system. Its a bit corroded but intact, yours for a £10.

Only thing is you'll have to collect from Turriff and it'll wake your neighbours :D

I got a new exhaust from warrenty. because there was something lose in the back box.
