Rolling Road Day

Anybody interested?

As I'm fairly new around here you may have had one recently? In which case ignore this post.

Otherwise it's usually a good day that gives people a chance to see what their car is putting out.

Few places to go Dastek etc. I'd imagine we could get a price of around £30ish.

Put your name in here anyway and we can see if there is any interest.

Perhaps look at a Sunday around late April May time? Suggestions on this also.

due to lack of interest the idea died a death.

I know there is a place near Glasgow Airport, AVA Tuning (I think), they have a rolling road, maybe worth a try!

Yeah i can make most sundays in April.

My choices would be Dastek, Star performance (Kircaldy) or Wallace performance (Aberdeen). Iv spoke to duncan at wallace performance before and im sure he will offer a good discount.

I'd prefer whichever one of those places is most central. I don't really want to travel really far just for the rolling road, perhaps a MINI run could be involved too?

I would think wherever we go someone out of the group will have to travel
slightly further but your right! Star performance or Dastek would be the
best option then.

hi guys recieved this from Dastek today:

Thank you for your enquiry regarding the Dastek Rolling Road Day's. Our rolling road days are held on a Saturday morning starting at 8.30am.

We require a minimum of 15 cars to run and the prices are as follows,
15-20 cars £35per car
21+ cars £30per car
The maximum number of car's that can be run in one day would be 30.

What I usually do is if you decide to hold your rolling road day here then I will give you a choice of two dates so you can run a poll on your site and find what date suits your club best. The two dates I am thinking about are,
Sat 20th May
Sat 3rd June.
I am afraid that I don't have anything before this.


Seems like we would need 15 cars and on a sat which would be no use for me!

I'll ask some other places but if it's 15 cars we need i think we would struggle.

Star performance are fully booked untill november!

Wallace performance are 30 pounds per car but only if we get 10 cars or over.
