Anyone know if it is possible to turn off the interior monitoring for the alarm on a MCS?
I have to leave the dog inside sometimes and I don't like leaving the car unlocked obviously!

it used to be that if you pressed the lock button twice, this switched off the interior monitoring... Not sure if that is still the case - best check with you friendly local dealer.. :D:D

With my old 03 plate Cooper, if you put the key in the door lock and turned it to lock the car, the alarm would not go on, it would only lock the doors...
(I dunno if it was *meant* to do that tho! ;))
Have you tried that?
Or do you want to have the rest of the alarm system (tilt / immobiliser) left on?

If all else fails, consult your handbook!;)

as mentioned above the double press on the lock button is supposed to de-activate the interior sensor and tilt sensor for that very porpoise!! :)
