I am on my second set of headlights due to the electric height adjusters breaking-car is only 3 years old.
Is this a common problem?
Also, will fitting xenon bulbs improve the lights as they awful, especially on dark country roads?

Yes to the first, I had a set replaced under warranty.
Not sure to the second, but Wul has changed his to some other type. See this thread here (http://www.newminiscotland.co.uk/snitzforums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=6812)

Ah, so i'm not the only one with crap headlights, mine are exactly the same as yours on dark roads, very little vision at all
As Duncan says, try the philips bulbs, that's my next purchase

Car is almost out of warranty so I hope this is the last set of lights!
Think I'll try the new bulbs next week when the headlights have been replaced as they can't be any worse than the factory fitted candles!

try powerbulbs.co.uk or autobulbsdirect.co.uk as I've bought stuff from both sites before and the service has been great :D:D
