anyone know any good hotels in Barcelona?

Going in early May with my other half, and plan on taking in a game as well.

Anyone got any tips?

My cousin went to barcelona last summer, will ask them where they stayed... i shall get back to you.

MINI put us up in the hotel Arts last year......really nice, not sure how expensive tho,right on the olympic front.......

I was in Barca last September.

Just turned up at the Tourist Information place in the centre, and got a room for the night there.
Just got to be careful of the Hotel touts that hang about out side the place.

Stayed on a place in the Ramblas. Clean but small rooms.

Got to say I prefered Madrid. Not as touristy as Barca
