Thought it was about time I organised another food outing after various texts and e-mails.

TIME= 6.30 MEETING TIME FOR 7PM DIN DINS:p
Just off where the old Auchenkilns roundabout WAS.
By road directions
From Junction 3 of the M80 or M73 (heading north), or Junction 4 of the M80 (heading south), take the A80 and head towards Cumbernauld. At Auchenkilns roundabout with the A73, take the B8048 (signposted Kirkintilloch). The Lodge is a little further along on the right, just before the next roundabout.

Now I cant book this place but there are always tables and even if we have to wait 30 minutes I dont think that will be too much of a problem as you can have a beer at the bar. We both have been many a time and just ask Markyc and his folks they too say its very nice.

To be honest, I don't think we'll be able to make it. Taking Saturdays off is very difficult and very expensive. We're already taking a fair bit of time off for the Keilder Run mid March. So, sorry guys, I think we'll need to sit this one out. If our plans change, I'll let you know.

After Jason very kindly changing the Meet to the Friday to accommodate us, I've realised we have a long standing engagement on that night. :eek::eek::eek::mad::disapprove::(:dead::dead::dea d::dead::blackeye::eek::mad::(:dead::disapprove::m ad::eek::eightball: :I

We agreed a couple of months ago to pick my Mum and Dad up from Berwick train station on that night. If I'd checked my diary earlier I'd have seen this and wouldn't have posted the "'Course, if it'd been a Friday night...." message.

So, I'm really sorry that we won't be able to make the Friday night either. I feel like a complete d*ckhead, and genuinely sorry that Jason & Lesley changed the date to suit us and yet we still can't make it.

I hope you all have a great time. Will do our best to make the next one.
