Thanks Andyp and Sleepy for helping me get the pics from my new camera onto the pc. Spent 4 hours on Satuarday cleaning the car then 3 coats of Meguires tec wax , what do you all think clean or what

What did you use on the black trim around the arches etc....?
I cant seem to find the right stuff...is black tyre gloss ok?

Black tyre gloss is made for rubber - not vinyl trim - it would wash off at the first hint of rain.
There are a few good products on the market for it - Autoglym trim; Meguairs Gold Class trim detailer or the MINI trim detailer are all good.

I use meguires tyre dressing and put it on with a paint brush so you get no spray and use autoglym bumper polish on the bumpers of course:D I havnt put anymore on the black trim for weeks now as i just buff them back up after a light wash with a dry cloth.

Have you used them to buy stuff or just got advice from them? I'm after a Megs Wash mitt which they stock, but wondered if you had used them?

Aye aye aye , it's clean & all that stuff but does it go round corners better than my boggin version :p;)
(bugger it , will need to clean ma MINI for Sunday. Only time it ever gets cleaned is when I meet up wi you 'polish' freaks)

Euan - i have one of these (http://www.sheepskinshop.co.uk/accessories.htm) and it's grrrrreat.
The fact you get two for almost the price of a megs one is nice too - although it doesnae have the bug shifter bit!
