brake discs awfy rusty

Hi There

Anybody else noticed that their brake disks get surface rust on them when you dont use your car for a few days.:eek:

They also make a grinding noise the first few times I use them untill the surface of the disk becomes clear of rust.:eek:

Or do I have a problem.:(

mine is the same Neil, and I maybe only don't use the car for about 2 days at the most.

Don't worry Neil:D they all do that;) Its because there made out of cast iron that they rust over so quick. Like you said the grinding noise is just the pads getting rid of the surface rust. :p:D:approve:
