on the topic of Top Gear did you notice the Nigel Mansell lap what was going on there ???? fastest lap time in two different cars.
Is he the "Stig" I wonder

They use 2 different cars for the lap.
I've noticed the different numberplates in previous shows.

I cannae get my head round this. Two cars but they manage a laptime off 1.44 something and that includes swapping cars???? Not bad.

Well, they get more than the one timed lap, and presumably all the practice laps are filmed.
Its just the way it was edited, i guess.

Has Clarkson got a GREAT job or what!!! That Bugatti Veyron is amazing... Bugatti are making a loss on it as well because apparently it cost £5m to build each one! and they are only selling them at £840k each, so if you've got the money its a huge bargain :D:p:D
Now wheres that lottery ticket :p
Fifth gear last night was good too, with the Lamborghini Gallardo SE, that looks amazing too. Must be great to have money... :(

what a machine!!
but about the £5 million to make each car, i think its been taken the wrong way
I was reading an article on the net (for the love of god, cant mind where!) and thats there predicted cost of each car to make including development, settin up the factory, testing etc, for their predicted sales.
Does that make sense!;)
Kinda hard to explain but basically means it dosent cost 5million to produce the car now, but adding on the overheads it works out at about 5million a car (thats if they get their predicted sales right!!:p):D

I met the "old" stig - Perry McCarthy. Very nice chap. Doesn't think Clarkson can drive for toffee though ;)
Smitty, I think the Times online had an article about it with that in it. It's a showcase car, and what a car. Apparently it's a bit scary in the bends, handling is not it's strong point, however, WHO CARES!
