Got a puncture in the sidewall of one of my tyres. I dont think you can patch a sidewall puncture (can you?) so the tyre will need to be replaced. It is on the front and the front tyres are worn half way to 3 thirds should i just replace the damaged tyre or would it be better to replace both front tyres to keep even?
Thinking on putting on the 5 spoke 16" again for the winter so probably wont need to do somthing till summer.

You're right, you can't do anything with a sidewall puncture. If the tyres are more than half worn you're probably better off replacing both otherwise you will notice the difference in grip between the two sides making hard acceleration in the wet and hard braking very interesting!

small holes in the sidewall can be repaired by vulcanising it is like a toastie machine that melts rubber into the hole to make an invisible repair and as long as the cords of the tyre are not cut through the tyre will be as strong as before the puncture.
