Mikey has been losing a bit of coolant (approx a litre over the last month - 2 top ups) so i put him into Harry Fairbairns for a check up. The dignosis is that there is a problem with the water pump and it needs to be replaced - They recommend that he is not driven until it is done (new part delivered on monday).
Ah well, not a problem - pub crawl tomorrow afternoon anyway!
So everyone, keep an eye on your coolant levels!!

I had this problem too, had mini emergancy out and then it went into Henry Bros, the emergancy guy replaced the coolant bottle then it turned out that their was a whole in the radiator, was all fixed in a couple of days, after about a month of me having this problem.

I had a new radiator about fitted about 6 months ago at Eastern (under warranty) due to a hole / crack in the radiator at the bottom RH corner as you look in the bonnet - it lost all its coolant on the motorway an i was rescued by mini emergency services and the car has been fine since.
