seen the site a few times. can be quite funny but they do also rip into people who have put a lot of hard work into there cars, and some of them are actually nice cars, they just rip them to shreds anyway which is a bit harsh!

as for that wagon.....like the rear lights in the back bumper.....apart from tht its minging!

They might do their cars up for themselves, but they also give everyone else a good laugh and insight into just how little taste they have..........

Plus these are the types of Aholes who drive 3" from your bumper just because your sticking to the speed limit in a built up area, so it's fair game :D

Nah see you can’t say that, you have just labelled that person because of the way they modify his/her car. Not everyone drives like that if they have a modified car. I don’t here you mentioning the sales rep in his company car or the manager in his 7 series, just cause it ain’t modified don’t mean they don’t drive like as you put it Aholes. Im not gonna get into a heated discussion but don’t come on here and slag other peoples property, that’s what that s*** site is for.

You can't generalise about the kind of person someone is, just by the car they drive.....

How many times have new MINI owners been labelled as something they're not......... just because of what they drive.

The car in the photos isn't my taste, but I can tell that someone has spend many loving hours making it that way, because they want to.
Good on them for that.

Neil, sorry perhaps I should be more specific........

In my experience most of the heavily modified small hatchbacks that I've seen are often being driven far too fast in a built up areas, showing off. Most of the time that I've met this type of car on the road, the young and probably inexperienced driver is 3" from my bumper just because I'm sticking to the speed limit. Maybe it was a sweeping generalisation but as yet I've never seen one that would change my opinion.

To deck out a car like that, and nearly all the other cars on the site, in my opinion shows a complete lack of taste:evil: .

Anyway, I like modified cars, I'm driving one, I'm also very envious of some of the cars on this site SCs and that red convertible your mum drives for one;) so I'm not against people modding cars..... just with taste

As long as the person that done it likes it then sod anyone else I say. Everyone has different tastes in what looks nice and what looks boggin, a point beautifully illustrated by the fact BDM's married! :eek:;)

I do reserve the right to chuckle at 1 litre Corsas with big bore exhausts though. I can't help it they just sound funny to me. :)

Hmm.. well it's not an R32 disguised, cos that's a new shape Golf..

..that someone's sprayed gold and added some bits on..

If you look in the engine bay, it used to be a red golf! :D

As one of the posters mentions.. where does all the air from the huge scoop go? In the Cooper S, that's easy.. into the Intercooler..
But there's nowhere for it to go on this thing...
Doesn't look too bad tho... apart from that intereior!! Bleh! :dead:

here is the VW R32 against the BMW 130i driven by the one and only JC this is a TopGear test which will be in the new series. I know which one I like best;):I

Where did you get this picture from - I have ordered an R32 - Fingers crossed I will have it by February, but i am not holding my breath because the dealer has already informed me that it may not be available until April (i am first on their list)

Have you looked at the profile pics of someof these peoples' cars??
after just a quick shufty I've found aMazda MX3, and MX5, a Modded Hyundai S-Coupe and wait for it... the coolest car ever (so he has the right to slag off EVERYONE) - A (very standard) Honda Accord..
Now.. if you take anyone on that site seriously, then you deserve all the abuse you get! :D:p

And it actually seems to get worse.. I actually think all those on the site that slag off cars are really deeply in denial, that they don't have the talent or vision to cete something different and tasteful themselves (I mean look at the members' cars - bunch of old mens' and mid-life-crisis-mobiles...) so they try to discredit. There's actually a few pics of one car that has gone through various stages of Modding, and pics fromthe same submitter.. Following someone, taking pictures of their car? ...Now some people might see that as Stalking... ;);)

And the language they allow on an unrestricted site...
