well since owning the car for just over a year now, i am now on my 3rd clutch assembly and spigot bearing, now its gone again, anyone else had this problem

spigot bearing or release bearing?...never heard of spigots going

Are you resting (even lightly) your foot over the clutch pedal while you drive. This is the most common cause of the complaint you describe.

Hang on Kinghorn old chap, I havent heard of any Challenge cars having this problem and it hasnt yet materialised in the rally car yet. Cant think that you will be driving your car remotely as hard as a race or rally car. This really then all points to the only common factor in your repeated problem......doesnt it? :D:D

i dont think i am resting on the clutch,
