Stupid question? Silly Jason has taken the plates off the door on the old skirts and can't remember which way up they go:eek:.

Do you read "Mini Cooper" from the outside or the inside of the car.

HELP PLEASE:D:D

There is a group buy over on Mini2 for the Illuminated sill plates (http://www.mini2.com/forum/showthread.php?t=99815) however they look a pain to fit according to the BMW Illuminated Sill Plate Retrofit Guide (http://motoringfile.com/files/illuminated_door_sill.pdf). The sills need drilling etc, but it is possible if you are reasonably competent. The document gives an install time of 1.5 hours at BMW labour rates (which do vary) so you are looking at £140 to £175 installation cost approximately plus the £150 odd quid for the sills themselves.
