Yes, and I do mean a real one, and he's trying to chew the mouse cable...
<get OFF Charlie!>
And I'm a Mac user too - careful iccle fella....
(I agree though, that desk is abnormally clean and tidy!)

NMS on the screen there GAJ! NICE!! (And another abnormally clean and tidy desk - either that, or I'm not a normal Mac user!!)
I'll post a piccy of mine when I eventually get my proper study and computer desk..... I've only been waiting 4 years so far!
At the moment the poor wee iMAC is squeezed into the junk room (refuse to call it "spare room") between old sofas (which are going soon) and piles of boxes we still haven't unpacked....... Shocking!

I've still got my old Amiga somewhere, along with 300 floppy disks!
I would share in this, and show you my desk, however that would involve tidying it as we discovered last night that the roof in the study leaks so all the stuff is on the desk! Nightmare...

I've still got my Mac LC, ZX Spectrum, Acorn Atom, Amstrad 6128, NEC PC-8201A (Like Tandy 100), in fact the only old computers I ever parted with were my Atari ST and Tandy CoCo. So much junk, but not worth selling them, I'll keep them till they are worth something again.

Stick them on eBay. You'll get a small fortune. At least enough for half a tank of fuel for the MINI.;)

AHHHH Elite! My first C64 game. Hey John, you're about the same age as me (actually your the EXACT same age as me) did you spend your youth in front of a "home computer" too?
I've even tried to find a decent Elite "clone" for the PC, but nobody seems to sell one.

But no matter how careful you were in typing it in and no matter how many times you checked what was on screen was the same as in the magazine - IT NEVER WORKED!!:mad:
Worse, still, after the first couple of times you'd think we'd learn. But each month I'd rush down to Menzies for Commodore User and start typing in again. Only for it not to work.:mad::mad:
Never mind, once I hit fifteen I discovered girls and breasts;):D. End of a computer era for me!:cool:
