Chocolate Fudge Cake? Surely you can't afford luxuries like that anymore, what about the scary fuel bills ;):D

bpirie1000

Everyone should make space in the budget for Chocolate Cake..

if we didn't there would be Millions of chocolate cake wasted in this world.

Keep up the good work julz...

It's working out cheaper than the mini at the mo!:D:D Even got a refund from my insurance company!;):p

The Dogfather
18th October 2005, 05:06 PM
Wow! You must be still running it in ;) Or being very careful :D

Julz
18th October 2005, 05:34 PM
It's still being run-in (only 147 miles on the clock), but as the car is initially designed to be super duper quick, it's more balanced on fuel economy. Tyres are cheaper (sticking with 17" but hopefully not have to worry about replacing them til spring), insurance is cheaper, servicing is cheaper (seriously!) and it's so much bloomin' fun, even when I can't take it over 3500rpm yet!!:D:D:D:D

How can servicing be cheaper than the TLC deal?

Some dealers were offering it with free insurance ;)

I get 3 years free or 27000 miles and as I need a service every 4500 miles that works out at 6 free services, and these are proper ones, not just the occasional change of oil and maybe a filter too! I have to get diff fluids changed, brakes fluids etc etc.! Then when I have to start paying for them, a service is still cheaper as mitsi don't charge ridiculous amounts fot their Ralliart approved mechanics or parts and that's even with the major ones that I have to get! I was very shocked when we worked it all out!:approve::D

No pics yet, haven't got round to it!
Pleased, I'm ecstatic and everything is as I thought it would be and more, never thought I'd see the day I would find a car more enjoyable to drive than the mini! This car is a dream, plus, went shopping in Sainsburys yesterday and didn't have to worry about how much I bought and even thought about going to B&Q as well! The joys of a boot, back seats, back doors, power, handling, dump valve, need I go on??;):D:p

Probably couldn't use it properly 'cause of that bodykit!;)

Julz
24th October 2005, 04:31 PM
Shows neither of you have ever driven an Evo then!;):D The handling is just better and nothing to do with the kit, it's hard to explain without everyone getting all defensive over the mini!:sleepy: Put it this way, it's more of a wicked, evil giggle when you're booting it round the corners, obviously the 4wd helps but it just feels more responsive and has a more 'drive me faster' response to it!:D:D

Where's John when you need him to explain these joys!!:clown:
