Has anyone else seen the race across the Mojave desert? driverless vehicles race across a 240km track, with no input from anyone.

My question - why build one using a truck? Surely the first time you test it your going to be bricking it in case it takes off, doesn't stop and wipes out the car park?

technically there wasnt anyone in the Tourag... although its hard to tell with 4x4 drivers as most drive like there isnt anyone in em anyways.

I loved the fact that one of the teams who built one of the cars started by designing a robots for TVs Robot Wars.
