A full day of racing on Sunday, from the Knockhill site

SMRC Car Racing (Sun 9th October)
Scottish Championships with a full car racing programme featuring Legends, Caterhams, XR2s, Saloons, Historics, Mini Coopers and Formula Fords - fantastic racing action.

£10 adults, £5 conc

Looks like i'm defo coming down but not in the mini i'm afraid!
What's the best time to get down and are the mini's racing at a certain time?

Don't know that many faces yet from the site but hopefully i will recognise some!

I,ll be in my Silver Cooper , 17,s with John Cooper & NMS stickers. No idea what the car parkings like but I,ll look out for those I know & others like yourself. What MINI you got & ill look out for you.

I wont be in my mini (boo hoo) as going away for a few days next week so taking the boyf's car (Silver Golf) since his work pay for fuel!

Can anyone familiar with Knockhill suggest a point for those going and we can meet there?

Depends which direction you're coming from8) Coming in from the Kincardine Bridge end you could meet at the Garwhinzeen Hotel which is about 100yards from the right turn up to Knockhill:) Folks coming from the north could meet there too:approve: You can park anywhere around the track but a general rule of thumb is if you turn left once your on the slip road into the track then that takes you down to the end of the straight. If you go straight on you will be hearded into the parking thats next to the hairpin. Have a nice day folks:cool: :p:D:approve:

Guys, can i meet you down at Knockhill instead? Better not meet you at Duthie Park as will be with the boyf in his car (non mini).

Will only be logged in for another 20mins or so. If i dont hear from anyone will try and look out for you once i'm there! :D

i will be there tomorrow so look out for a white xr 4x4 with very loud zorst and cossie wheels, not my car tho im getting picked up by my mate as im too lazy to drive there myself.

Well done John, superb tussle you had with Dugan, you're drive through Duffus on you're second lap was awesome :cool: no one came anywhere near close to it, shame about the broken drive shaft :( looking forward to watching again next year :p

Was good meeting everyone today :D Congrats on the awesome start John, and then all the **** that happened in the middle and then as you start makin progress again and all over the back of that other guy like a bad rash, your car borks up, was good to watch tho, and you seemed to enjoy yourself so its all good :D Ill be along to show the support next season mate

Good day out!! Shame it was FREEEEZIN!!!

John, I think it just wasn't your day. It was so frustrating to watch when you got cought up in that tussle and lost so many places! Still you had a good fight with the black MINI!

It was nice to meet those I havn't met before! Loved the RX8 Sh@z!

Downside of the day was getting flashed by a gatso on the way home. What a numpty i am!

Great bit of racing, the MINIs were by far the most entertaining cars on the track. Shame about the driveshaft as I reckon you had the black mini beaten given the chance.

Sorry to hear about Gatso Sleepy, looks like NMS has been topping up the police coffers again :(

Wish i could have made it up for the day but since i cant drive at the moment i dont think my chaufer (dad) would have liked to be dragged out his bed at 9.00am to get to knockhill! :(

I have a lovely infected knee after it got sliced open during a game of rugby, so not only cant i drive i cant realy walk either. :(

Not to worry out for a month or so, but I am hoping to try and drive again on Wednesday / Thursday, week and a half since it happened. :(
