Good plan... there's not been one of these for a while has there?:D:D

Anyone?

I don't think there's ever been one down this way!

With the price of petrol as it is, it becomes a huge factor in attending a longish run - i.e. the day can cost £70 if you include petrol and grub. So something other than a long run might be a nice change and get a larger attendance...

Nice one Lesley, i'll come ;):D

where's central for everyone, seems that for most runs most people meet at stirling so what about the brewers fayre just round from the services, large carpark, food's ok if thats what you all want to do, most importantly there's beer for the passengers! (yes Lesley will be allowed to drive that night:D).
right lets set a date Friday the 30th September at 7pm .Brewers Fayre car par just after the roundabout at stirling services, come out of the services and take the second on the left about 300 yards down on the left hand side.Should still be light enough at night then to show off any new additions to your cars then food, beer and chat. I know it may be 2 weeks away but that should be plenty time for everyone to decide. i may have to book some tables though for food , or do you just turn up at these places?

Craig
16th September 2005, 05:15 AM
Jason/Lesley,

We are a definate for this, Jude will be driving (wooohooo!!). We used this place for the end of Goldmini's West Coast run and he booked it, so it would probably be a good idea, especially as it is a friday night.

Well done for organising this, see you then. (the winter wheels will be on by then..:(, but the JCW Kit should be on by then:D)

mon the fish I would love to but the thought of the brewers fayre food and their chicken dipper started with side dish of garlic bread followed by a bit of steak polished of with aunty bettys apple pie is just to much to pass up.

Maybe the young yins would like to go to your place after.;)

Judging by your description of the food scootiecoop you’ve been before (well described I may say I'm now bloody starving) do you think I should phone and book some tables or do you just turn up

Craig
21st September 2005, 05:12 AM
If there is going to be any more than 6, I would book, but if not, we are no bigger than a family...:D

Mon the fish

Aye, add me to the list, being a bit of a woman there in dancing around the topic and not making my mind up :D

Scottie
21st September 2005, 06:12 AM
don't think you can book unless it's a large party.

Lesley I've been a few times well quite a lot well every second weekend to be honest.:I Handy place to take my mum. ;)

If numbers remain small we could always go to the cantoneese (yummy) down the craigs in Stirling But it would be more expensive or the Italians Sepia Falkirk or Better stop.:I me stomach thinks my throats cut.

Craig
21st September 2005, 03:31 PM
The Regent mmmmmmmmmmmm :approve::approve:

The only problem with that Fiona is parking...... I think the Brewers Fayre is probably still the best bet, 'cos of their wide range of food (which you seem to know VERY well;)) and loads of free parking.

Just my tuppence..

Craig:D

N12 JLK
22nd September 2005, 12:08 AM

Mon the fish
22nd September 2005, 01:27 AM

what do you all think would be best on the night for paying, do you think a kitty would be best at the start of the night, saves the hastle of who had what at the end of the night

Scottie
26th September 2005, 03:25 AM
you can do that though It's one of those places you go up place your oder give table number then pay. So each couple orders their food and pay but either way I'm easy.

AndyP & Lenore
26th September 2005, 03:32 AM
If you order and pay at bar then it might be easier if each couple pay for their own. Just my opinion though.:D

Argh! Only just back on the forum after a longish absence and realise I missed this and would probably have been up for it... it was my birthday too (and Dennis was 1 on the 28th! - still no return visits to the dealer since day 1).
