done it at last bought a private reg for my cooper today, got the plates made up with the mini logo all the way through the plate ,very cool:cool:, only bugger is ive to wait 2 weeks for the documents to come in to change it over on the car:(

got the reg from dvla , the plates made in a little auto shop in the Cumbernauld village, only £18 for the set ,
mini logo in bold to the left of plate with MINI underneath then border and behind lettering the mini badge again all through the plate in silver tint.
once i get them on i will e mail a picture of the plate to you .not far from Larbert for you to travel at the weekend, only takes 5 mins in the shop.

The car parts shop in Turriff also does MINI plates not sure of they're the same though.....
