Anyone got one on pre-order?
Had a play with one in Game in Ocean Terminal a couple days ago.:D
Very cool piece of kit. Great graphics, and plays just like a PS2.:D:D
Looking forward to 1st September. Sad life, I know, but what can you do....

One of the lads in our office has one he picked in China , its stunning.
They use their own propriety disk format called UMD which are about 4cm across

if it was the same size discs as the PS2 it wouldnt be as portable.. it'd be called the NPSP lol. I saw one of these in a car model shop some wee lad was playing with it and he gave me a shot, gorgeous piece of kit.

I have one for sale. Brand New. Got it in the USA.
Complete with Twisted Metal, Van Wilder (film), extra 512mb memory card, headphones with remote(un-used), soft carry case, screen protector, all the same stuff you would get if you buy it in the shops.
I had a wee shot of it to make sure it worked etc because I brought it home for a friend who now says he cant afford it. Great! But other than that, it's brand new!
Only difference to the UK spec is the charger which is usa style so you would need a shaver adaptor.
OPEN TO REASONABLE OFFERS..

That is what I was going to say Fiona. I really dont know. I wasn't going to buy on in the states if the UK games didnt work but the guys in the shop said UK games would work fine. He wasn't sure about films though. Maybe someone else might know a little more about this..... MARTIN??

Just found out on http://www.sortlifeout.co.uk/psp-faq.htm That the PSP games are region free. I'll go find some more info just to make sure.

Ok heres how it is.
from www.geek.com
Games are not region encoded however the films will be. So if you buy a US/UK/China spec PSP, any game from anywhere in the world will work. You would have to buy films from ebay however in the US region. In all fairness, the screen is to small to watch films although I did buy one (included in the sale Fiona) and it was ok but ended up with a sore neck.

Cool scottie. I'll be working 7am - 7pm so i'll phone you between 7:30pm and 8pm and come in past your place. I'm pretty sure i'll remember how to get there. You will be able to see the nav screen all installed etc. Still some work to do at the back. I kinda had to leave it to go to the states.
