Thanks to the sale of Marky's old wheels (thanks to Choc..:D) the new wheels arrived today and are looking fantastic.;)

They are 18" wheels with Toyo Proxes rapped roond them.

Prize for the first person to get the name of the wheels right..

Craig

PS - BIG thanks to the buys at Rochford Tyres for prompt and exact service.....you just can't buy that.:D

wrong with the name of the wheels

Keep trying...;)

yeah, we had a long discussion about the lowering of the car, but just putting springs on is not advisable and a proper coil/damper setup is expensive. mark also said he didn't want any rubbing issues... We shall wait and see - your advice re what setup to stop any rubbing would be appreciated.

I must admit like Sh@z I would have had them down as Kahns - apart from not having the logo in the centre cap they are pretty much identical.

I have a fully adjustable Spax setup on my car with 18" wheels and no issues with rubbing even with people in the back. Lots of people on here have had Eibachs and other kind of springs with no issues.

Looks fantastic but It looks like they are on the wrong side,

I hope I'm wrong but those tyres are directional and look like they are the wrong way arround;)

Eye of a hawk John.

You are correct. I had these Toyo tyres on my last car... and they are directional tyres.

Very nice wheels though... look the dogs Bollo#ks

They were on the wrong way - but I noticed after taking the photos and that has been rectified;) They even have left and right on the tyres so that you get it right!! It was only the back 2 that were round the wrong way.. I'll let Mark know what you said about the suspension Martin.

Cheers

Craig

Well Martin you are sort of correct - exact same look, but over £400 cheaper even with the update to Toyo tyres. They are made by a company called Titan from USA.

Craig ;)

Cool, cant fault it - 400 quid is 400 quid :D think of all the other things that can be bought for the car by saving 400 quid ;)

that was what I said to him. He was sold on the Khans (and spending the money..) when I found these other wheels for him, so I say the £400 quid should go towards new suspension;) with my finders fee obviously..;):D:approve:
